Check identity before comparing value

Review one item at a time. A missing source, mismatched option or unexplained payment destination cannot be offset by attractive photos or a low price. This checklist records evidence; it does not rate a product or seller.

Three decisions for a saved result
Decision	Use when	Next step
Ready to compare	The item, option and source match, and the information needed for your comparison is visible.	Record the remaining limitations; this is not approval to purchase.
Needs evidence	A required measurement, price condition, photo reference or date is missing.	Name the gap and the responsible source that could resolve it.
Stop and resolve	The destination, code, option or contact conflicts with the saved record.	Keep it out of the comparison until the mismatch is explained.

Nine checks to record

Mark only checks supported by a source you have opened. Unmarked checks remain unknown. Print this page for offline notes; answers are not stored or sent.

The product type and exact option match my research question. The source URL, final destination and visible code refer to the same item. The source of contact details is recorded and conflicting identities are unresolved. Photo references and missing angles are recorded for this exact item. Relevant measurements include units and a visible measurement method. A price record includes currency, unit, option, quantity tier and quote date, or is marked unknown. Packing, actual weight and chargeable-weight assumptions are recorded, or are marked unknown. Any QC photo set is tied to an item and dated; missing evidence is explicitly noted. I recorded the link-check date, unresolved questions and a reason for comparison.

A missing detail can change the decision

Hypothetical example: a bag row has clear exterior and interior photos and visible dimensions, but its source link opens a different size. The result remains “stop and resolve.” Additional photos do not fix the source mismatch.

If the source is corrected but the quote lacks currency or date, the decision becomes “needs evidence.” Only compare its price after those conditions are supplied. No product or seller was tested for this example.
